This week is author appreciation week. This week was created by Heidi R. Kling. You can read the post about it here. Along with posting about the authors I appreciate this week, I am also having a week-long feature for The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting.
Today's Author that I appreciate is the lovely Maureen Johnson. Maureen is one of the funniest YA writers that is on my bookshelf. All of her books are amazing. A lot of her books involve traveling, which isn't found in a lot of YA books.
Maureen also is on twitter a lot. Which is awesome, because I am a big tweeter. And she responds to the people that tweet to her, which is hard to find when the author is known by many people.*
*There are a lot of well known authors that are super nice and respond to twitter.
