My Trip to LA

So this last weekend, I went on a trip to LA to go visit some family. I had to sit in a car for EIGHT HOURS!!!!
But, after the horrid car ride, I got to meet Khy of Frenetic Reader . We met at a Barnes and Nobles. We were look at books at talking for about an hour. Needless to say it was really fun!

She was the first book blogger that I have met.

Some people would ask:
What could you possibly do in one section of a bookstore for an hour?

Well, let me tell you. There was a lot of book organizing. The YA section there was very un-organized.
I mean, they had a WHOLE table devoted to stacks and stacks of Twilight books and magazines with Robert Pattinson's face on it. But, they didn't even had an organized YA section.

But, they did have an impeccable YA section. It was HUGE compared to the ones we have here.

At the end, I ended up buying two books; Geektastic:Stories from the Nerd Herd and The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan.

And, when we were done visiting each other, Khy gave me one of the best birthday presents ever.

She gave me:

A SIGNED COPY OF BOY MEETS BOY BY DAVID LEVITHAN!!!!!

For those of you who don't know, I am a huge David Levithan fangirl (David, if you are reading this, don't me scared. And HI).

I have read all of his books except for the ones he co-wrote with three other authors under the name David Van Etten. I would have read them, but they don't sell them here and they don't have them in the libraries here, because I guess book-places here enjoy tortureing me.
But, yea, without question David Levithan is tied with another author as my all time favorite author. He beats JK Rowling, which in my book, is a hard thing to do.

So, Khy giving me a signed copy makes her, like, a god.

When she gave it to me I was speechless. There was screaming, but there was jumping. Im not kidding when I say that when I got to my car I started petting the book and I wouldn't stop telling my mom that is was signed. She was like. "I KNOW! I was there..." . 5 minutes after leaving the bookstore, I texted Khy and was like "You are the nest person ever. Godly. I am in shock..."

So, you could say I was excited.

That was a little bit about my trip to LA. I have pictures, but I still can't find my camera cord and I can't find my parents camera.

You should all go check Khy's blog out. She is a fantastic blogger and person.
