So, I'm hoping that I'll get some sort of eReader for Christmas/Hanukkah this year. So, before I ask for anything I was wondering what you all thought of them?

If you have one- which do you prefer (Kindle, Sony eReader, Nook, etc.).

And those of you who do have one- when you use it, do you feel as if you're reading on a computer? Or like a book? Or something besides those two things?

Personally, I adore my Nook, and there's a new one coming out with a 7 inch color tap screen!

I have had Nook and Sony and I do prefer my Nook. The prices are pretty much the same as the Kindle and you don't have to worry about Amazon compiling your data and highlighted passages. Evil corporation.

I have a Sony e-Reader, but I haven't tried the others before so I don't really have an opinion. I like the Sony e-Reader personally because I can edit, highlight, and scribble things around the margins, which is good when I read textbooks on the eReader lol

I have a nook and love it!

I had a Sony Reader and loved it. I have since replaced it with an iPad, so I have Kindle, Nook, Borders, Kobo, and iBooks apps, and can choose whichever has the best price on an ebook.
